The fashion world is in mourning after losing one of its most talented British designer Alexander McQueen. His designs were favoured by A-listers including Sarah Jessica Parker, Rihanna and Sandra Bullock. My heart is very much with his family and friends. It is no doubt that Fashion has lost one of its most talented and inspirational figures.
Alexander – born Lee Alexander McQueen who was only 40 years old – was found in his apartment on Thursday morning after apparently comitting suicide. It is said that this happened very shortly after the death of his mother Joyce, to whom he was very close to, and just one week before London Fashion Week begins. He was also due to unveil his new spring collection at Paris Fashion Week in March, I was so looking foward to that!
