Yellow & Denim

It has been a while since I had an OOTD post. I convinced myself that I would put a 100% into my blog but it is proving hard to do so with so much going on.

This gorgeous pleated skirt was picked out of a charity shop a few weeks back for only £3, if I remember clearly. It is a size 16 but I had been looking for a yellow pleated skirt for the longest and so I bought it regardless (thank God for my mother's sewing machine), a few tacking in here and there and voila, the perfect fit.

It has been a busy week and so I haven't had much time to take any pictures, my apologies.

Anyway, as I don't have any OOTD pictures to post, I might as well post these ones up. I have been dying to do it ever since I saw VV brown with the same hairstyle about 2 years ago and I finally had the courage to do it.

Casual day out shopping with my girl for her birthday outfit so I thought i'd throw on a playsuit and some converses for comfort
(I ended up swapping the converses for some flat pumps just before I left)

Can I just say, Stratford Westfield is a waste of space and time.
